OUR STORY

We are a team of writers first.

We all felt various degrees of uncertainty when navigating the unknown, somewhat scary publishing world.

What’s missing? How-to manuals. Confidence in a writer’s vision. Belief in our books. Someone who cares.

We decided there is something we can do about it – making stories real and recognised by believing in the people who create them.

We partner with writers by offering the tools, guidance and services they need, so they can carry their stories with confidence.

Focusing on authors without a dedicated support team, we’re also mindful of budget – authors can choose targeted services online or in-person that complement their own efforts or opt for a full-service experience that handles everything.

Our core team met in a Creative Writing graduate program.

And we all share a vision – to help writers feel proud of their books and to bring visibility to authors who need help connecting with their readers.

Founder and CEO

What do you see – that authors often don’t see –about their own brand?

‘Writers spend so much time inside their own heads (and manuscripts) that it’s easy to miss what makes their brand distinct. Patterns in their voice and themes make them memorable – even when those traits feel ordinary to the author. Often, it’s what feels most familiar to you that readers find most compelling. Surfacing those strengths helps build an authentic brand readers want to connect with.’

NEL HERCHE

Nel is also a writer, artist and teacher, who is always in search of the next new project. Originally from the U.S., she lives in London with her family.

COO and Social Media Director

What do you think authors most underestimate about promotion?

‘It’s tempting to underestimate how much clarity and consistency matter in promotion. It’s not enough to say, ‘Hey, I wrote a book!’ Promotion is your chance to invite readers into your world –to show them who you are, what you value and why your work deserves a place on their shelves. Defining your brand and showing up with intention makes every interaction count. ‘

MYA GUARDINO

Mya is also a writer and journalist who creates social media content inspired by her passion for reading, writing, and film. She lives in New York with her family.

Communications Director

How do you protect the author’s energy while expanding their presence?

‘We take over all of the responsibilities the writer has been carrying throughout the creation of their book. Our team are trained in this industry so that the authors don’t have to be, and we’re passionate about giving our authors the support and exposure they deserve. Our clients give us the heart of their stories, and in order to protect that heart, we handle all of the logistics.’

ELISABETH CONNELL

Elisabeth is a writer hailing from southern America. Her work examines how the modern society we’ve built affects the way we engage with ourselves and others. She currently lives in London with her family away from home (and now loves milky tea).

PR & Image Director

What fears do authors rarely admit about their PR image?

‘Many authors fear that PR means putting on a mask or acting out of character. Stepping into the spotlight can feel jarring after the private act of writing. There’s often an undercurrent of fear: What if I say the wrong thing? What if I sound fake? But the truth is, your author image works best when it grows out of an authentic voice, the same one that shaped your book. In the end, it’s about building real connections, not putting on a show.’

MYA BROWN

Mya is also an author, actor, film maker, and athlete. Born and raised in London, she is always up to something creative in the area, whether that is a book, a film or something on stage!
