Editorial Interests

Curiosity, collaboration, and respect for a writer's voice guide my approach to editing. Having worked in publishing and as a book critic, I have learned that great editing isn't about rewriting a manuscript. It is about uncovering its full potential while preserving the author's unique vision. I enjoy asking thoughtful questions, identifying both a story's strengths and areas for refinement, and offering constructive, actionable feedback. Whether I am shaping the bigger-picture elements of character, structure, and pacing or fine-tuning the language at the sentence level, my goal is always the same: to help authors tell the most compelling version of their story and create a book that truly resonates with readers.
